History of MUA

Miami Union Academy is 100 year institution formed on the principles of Seventh-day Adventist Christian Education serving the tri-county area. Established in 1917 as Bethany Academy with First through Eight grade students; was one of five schools for black children in Miami-Dade County. Since its inception our institution has maintained a rich culture of excellence in education.

Our Mission

At Miami Union Academy we seek to explore the potential of each student by exposing them to rigorous academics, creative social development experiences, and an excellent spiritual program. From PreK-12^th grade we work to prepare our students for the university experience and to meet the global challenges facing our future.
